While working on repairing the gutter lights, all of the sudden I heard a loud pop from the direction of our power pole, and the lights went out. After calling the power company around 4:30, we finally saw a truck around 6:00. I went outside and spoke to them, they estimated a " couple hours" and took off in their truck. We didn't see anyone again till about 7:45, when not one but three trucks rolled in, including a very large bucket truck. They confirmed that the transformer was dead and went about replacing it, which took about 45 minutes. I watched from my bay window and snapped some pics with my DSLR while they were working. Enjoy!
